Myotherapy is a clinical, evidence-informed treatment approach focused on assessing and treating muscle and fascia-related pain, restriction, and dysfunction. At Myofascia Clinic, treatment is delivered by a BHSc-qualified myotherapist and draws on techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, joint mobilisation, dry needling, and functional cupping.
Remedial massage therapists typically hold a Diploma-level qualification. Myotherapy with a Bachelor of Health Science is a three-to-four-year university-level qualification with deeper training in clinical reasoning, biomechanics, pathology, and evidence-based practice — allowing for a more comprehensive clinical assessment and treatment plan.
Dry needling is used where clinically indicated, as part of The Structure Session, at the practitioner's discretion based on your assessment — not as a separate add-on fee.
